Our lives have been truly blessed with this sweet sweet boy. He is such a great baby and he already loves his brother and sister so much!
The first time they met him Baylie was in love with sweet Colt. Jake was intrigued and excited, but not sure how this was going to effect him. He was more into me then his baby brother.
A great tradition the hospital does is they let the older siblings put their hand prints on the wall. The kids were so excited to do this. It was all Jake talked about!
Unfortunately, baby boy is jaundice. We went to the doctor everyday for a week and a half. We have a break until Thursday since his liver checked out okay, Praise the Lord! His numbers are still a little high and he is still looking yellow, but he is getting better each day.
This is what Nathan and I saw at night in our room. Every time you fired up the lights it sounded like a space ship turning on!
He actually enjoyed being in the lights and slept really well. I think he likes being any where, though he is such a laid back baby!
Baylie and Jake love to hold him and sing songs to him. This is a picture of them singing twinkle, twinkle. For some reason Jake stuck a wipe in his mouth right when we took the picture.
Jake has really taken a liking to his little brother. He has really started to enjoy him. He was having a hard time with me feeding him. He did not like me nursing. So, to make it a little easier I pumped so he could give Colt a bottle. This really helped and he does not mind when I nurse anymore.
Colt is a little Chunk a Monk! At 9 days he weighed 9 lbs. 4 oz. This is great since he went all the way down to 8 lbs. 5 oz. Compared with the other 2... Jake weighed 9 lbs. 2 oz. at 2 weeks and Baylie weigh 9lbs. 12 oz at 2 months! We go in on Thursday for his 2 week check up I think I will have close to a 10 pounder by then! I will keep you posted.Thank you all for your sweet words and prayers. We are doing good and loving being a family of 5!! God is GOOD!!!
