Having a Ball!!!

Summer has officially started here at the Barron house!! The kids have been out of "school" for a couple of weeks now and the fun times have begun. What better way to start it all off then by having a pie fight. Baylie and Jake thought Nathan and I were crazy when we put the whipped cream on the plate and told them to hit each other in the face with it. It was sooooo funny! They were able to get Nathan as well, but he cleaned himself off before I could get a picture!
We also went to the Rangers/Astros baseball game here in Houston. We had a great time and the Rangers won!! The kids really got into it. Baylie loved the seventh inning stretch when she could sing "Take me out to the Ballgame" and "Deep in the Heart of Texas." We enjoyed going to the game as a family of five!!

Since I have the kids all week long, I am taking advantage of all the great parks that are around us. I was amazed at how much the kids can do this year versus last year! They have really grown up and become daredevils!! I have a feeling that Colt will be joing them soon!

Another fun activity we have at our house is dress up time!! All the kids have been getting into the action. Baylie dressed Jake up again complete with skirt, high heels, and hair accessories, but opted to put the firefighter outfit on instead to show that he will wear other things besides dresses! Baylie go to hang out with her friend Lauren and of course the princess parade was part of the playdate!

Since summer is here and it is sooooo hot and humid in Houston the best way to play outside is add water to the mix! The kids have really enjoyed the sprinkler and going to the pool. I will probably not have pool pictures because I need both of my hands to monitor all three kids! They have a ball though thinking of different ways to use the sprinkler.

We have a very busy but fun summer ahead. I am really looking forward to it!! I will make sure to keep updating the blog so you can see all the things happening at the Barron house!!
