Hey Everyone,
Well, Ike dealt our area a good blow, but God put a hedge of protection around us. The only damage that we sustained is a cracked back fence and some shingles off the roof. The big thing is that our zip code suffered "extensive" damage and power will be restored sometime after Monday. There is no timeline given with this so it could be a day after Monday or a month after Monday, we have no idea. So, needless to say Nathan and I packed up the kids and headed to DFW. We are enjoying the time with our family, but we really want to get home. I think our cell phones are finally working properly, so if you want to give us a call please do. We hope all is well with you all and your families. We will let you all know when we are able to get back to Houston!
