Encouraged

I just wanted to share a verse with you all that has really encouraged me. I am committing it to heart and working on the word for word memorization. I hope to continue to memorize verses. I am one of those that says "it is written" I just never remember where or the exact wording. The verse that has really spoken to me is Philippians 4:6 -7

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Isn't that just so powerful! I think that we are a very anxious society. Whether it is over our kids, finances, work, economy, etc. we are all anxious about something it seems. I confess that I have been anxious lately. When it gripped me hard I did the only thing I knew to do, pray and open my Bible. God gave me this verse and the peace I so desire. I encourage you to turn whatever you are anxious about over to the God of peace. I hope you all have a blessed day!
